Recently I had the pleasure of photography a milestone session for the adorable little B. He is 8 months old, sitting on his own and asserting his own little personality. Eight months is a great time for a milestone session since babies are often not that mobile and easy to photograph.
B was no exception! He was so happy sitting on the grass (we won't talk about how much grass he tried to eat!). We scheduled his session for 10 AM; it is important to schedule children's portraits for when they are most happiest during the day. This blanket is also special to him; I encourage families to bring along a few meaningful items and we will try to include them.
Although B's family is from out East, their are embracing their lives in Alberta with this session. B's mom brought along the most adorable little cowboy hat; isn't it just perfect with his little overalls?!
B's mom joined him in a few of the images. I think these portraits will be so special to him as he grows up! Family images are included in all milestone sessions.
I love capturing the little details. Those little chubby fingers and toes won't last forever, but now mom and the rest of his family will be able to capture them to enjoy forever.
Milestone sessions can take place outdoors on our farm, or in my indoor studio, a great option for those colder months. I recommend booking milestone sessions at about 7-9 months, but there is never a bad time for photographs! Message me today to inquire about availability and rates.
