Cake smashes are so much fun for both the birthday baby and the parents. This family really got into the event; I had so much fun with all three of them.
First we started with a family picture. I couldn't believe how talented they both were; dad made the Sesame Street sign! (More about mom in a minute). We took several family images with an without the sign, and did some of just baby G as well. Their shirts were also custom made and a super fun way to celebrate.
Next we did the cake smash! G has some food intolerances, so his mom wanted to make sure the cake was healthy for him to eat. She had never made a cake before, but did such an amazing job on this one Cookie Monster cake. I couldn't believe it was her first go at cake decorating. The eyes were genius; two styrofoam balls! G loved his Cookie Monster cake. The Sesame Street cake smash was a huge hit.
And then the bubble bath. So...most babies love the bubble bath...but G...not so much! He wasn't so sure about being bathed in my in home studio. We never want a child to get really upset, so his parents took him out quickly, but not before snapping a few images for the family album! Even the sad face is something that will be so precious to look at when G is all grown up.
